The Mercure had a convenient location near two beautiful squares and lots of restaurants. The air conditioning worked well during hot weather, which was a relief. Our superior room had extra space and a great view of the street. Breakfast offered local products, which I appreciated, though the selection was somewhat basic. The room was clean, but the lighting could have been better. I found the elevator narrow, making it tricky with larger luggage. The staff were friendly and helpful, which added to the positive experience. a few more toiletries would have been nice. a pleasant stay but with areas to improve.
